My favourite resturant I have ever eaten at. The waitresses are very friendly and polite and provide very fast service. The portions are superb, very filling and you would never leave feeling hungry. The dessert menu has a vast array of delicious cakes though there are other options such as strawberries and cream. The bar is well stocked and all dishes, drinks etc are at very affordable prices for very fine quality.

Food is great here....most traditional dishes but the specials are great! definately good value especially for families and non formal dinners.

Food Was Cold and Uncooked, Drinks were sent In Dirty Glasses ...Staff Where Rude And Forced A Tip!

The staff are friendly and abliging. The food is very well prepared and cooked and service is adequate. Pricing is fair. Brilliant meal, filling and delicious.

The Resteraunt was horrible , i sent 2 meals back for being cold when the dessert arrived on a dirty plate and cold when i order a warm desert i complained the shef came out grabbed me by the hair slammed by head into the pudding and said taste better now ,

Recently ate at the Whistlestop with the family for a special occasion. The food was excellent, waiting staff very friendly and accomadating. Very reasonably priced, relaxed evening would definitly re-visit.
Recommended Dishes: Whislestop's homemade steak & ale pie.

Good wholesome food, large portions and they know how to spell Chef!!
